Planning Assistance Aqueous Consultants have extensive experience of preparing environmental studies to support planning applications for development, both in the UK and abroad.
Local Authorities have a responsibility to protect preserve and enhance biodiversity under the Natural Environment and Rural Communities Act 2006 (NERC) and Planning Policy Statement 9 (PPS9). This is to ensure that UK and European protected species such as Great Crested Newts, Bats, Reptiles and Badgers are protected during development and that no adverse impact on the conservation status of these species should arise as a result of development taking place. Therefore before a planning authority can grant planning permission they must be satisfied that there will be no loss of biodiversity as a result of development.
We provide complete design packages, advice on projects, co-ordinate and undertake project management, feasibility and environmental phase 01 studies and provide support for carrying out environmental planning conditions and agreements. Aqueous Consultants has an excellent track record for preparing successful planning applications for new ecological and environmental improvement projects including recent lake complex, lake rejuvenation projects, school nature reserves and many other bio-diversity improvement plans.
