Preliminary Risk Assessment Aqueous Consultants carry out Phase 1 Site Investigations to understand risk and liabilities and achieve regulatory approval.   The phase 01 investigation generally comprise of: •A thorough site walkover and discussions with relevant personnel to identify all current and recent contamination sources; •A detailed review of any historical use of the site to identify potential contaminative uses and their locations and any health and  safety considerations that may be relevant to subsequent works; •A review of the wider setting of the site to include geology, hydrogeology, surrounding industry and all other areas of potential  concern; and, •A report drawing together conclusions about potential contamination at the site and making recommendations to determine and the  scope of any Phase 2 Site Investigation required.
